Managed Hosting, IP connectivity and SOC2-audited data centers from Internap ensure speed, uptime and security for TalentWise platform
ATLANTA – July 16, 2013 ─ Internap Network Services Corporation (NASDAQ: INAP), a provider of high-performance hosting services, and industry-leading Hiring Process Management (HPM) solutions provider TalentWise, today announced that TalentWise is leveraging Internap’s Managed Hosting and route-optimized IP connectivity services for the high-performance delivery of its cloud-based hiring solution, TalentWise Hire.
Through its proprietary cloud-based software solution, TalentWise automates the undeniably complex hiring process so HR can manage all activities electronically, including offer letters, background checks and drug screening, E-Verify, new hire forms, I-9s and more. Each solution ensures regulatory and corporate policy compliance – providing HR, hiring managers, candidates and new hires alike increased efficiencies, assured compliance, and an overall better experience.
Since TalentWise manages sensitive candidate and employee data, it must meet stringent data security and compliance requirements, including the Experian Independent 3rd Party Assessment (EI3PA) and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) designed to protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII). The company selected Internap’s Managed Hosting services at its high-density data center in Dallas to ensure a secure, dedicated infrastructure environment with managed servers overseen by Internap engineers. The SOC2-audited facility provides independent, third-party confirmation that the data center controls and processes are suitably designed to protect and safeguard customers’ equipment and data.
Other security features at Internap’s Dallas facility include 24×7 on-site security personnel, lockable cabinets and biometric scanners. Additionally, TalentWise is leveraging Internap’s Santa Clara data center as a disaster recovery site and its Seattle data center for development, both of which are also SOC2-audited facilities.
“Our thousands of customers rely on TalentWise solutions to more easily and efficiently screen prospective employees and manage the hiring process in a way that’s assured to be secure and compliant,” said Prashant Luthra, vice president, technology at TalentWise. “To address these demands, we needed our platform to reside on dedicated hardware managed by a secure, compliant, best-of-breed provider. Internap stood out among those we considered based on its ability to provide uptime and performance guarantees at advanced, SOC2-audited facilities, while collaborating with us to design the ideal customized environment for engendering trust with our customers.”
TalentWise requires optimal performance and availability to accelerate customer access to its solutions via web-based portals for both HR professionals and new hires. Internap’s route-optimized Performance IP™ connectivity minimizes latency and provides a 100% uptime SLA with its patented Managed Internet Route Optimizer™ (MIRO) technology. MIRO continually scans multiple network service providers and connects to the fastest available route across the Internet. These capabilities also ensure fast, reliable access to customers’ existing applications that are integrated with the TalentWise platform, such as payroll, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Document Management Systems (DMS).
“TalentWise represents a growing trend of cloud-based providers turning to hosted infrastructure, allowing them to focus on their core competencies – developing and delivering full solutions to their customers,” said Gopala Tumuluri, vice president of Internap’s hosting business unit. “Internap’s high-performance hosting solutions and geographically distributed footprint of data centers, built to the highest design and operational standards, guarantee the reliability and performance our Software-as-a-Service customers require to ensure an optimal experience for their end users.”
